All of this happened on Republic Day when the farmers decided to carry out a massive tractor rally, as a symbol of their protest against the three contentious farm laws. However, the mega tractor rally turned ugly pretty soon and there was vandalism all across the National Capital. Infighting among farmers' union groups has now come to light, with the blame being passed on to other organizations. Samyukt Kisan Morcha has put the blame on Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee and Deep Singh Sidhu for the conspiracy and the violence that broke out in the National Capital yesterday. Close to 200 suspects have been detained by the Delhi Police officers.
