The boycott of the President’s address comes in to show solidarity with the protesting farmers. Opposition parties include Congress, TMC, AAP and other left parties.
Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that ‘We're issuing a statement from political parties that we're boycotting President's Address that will be delivered at Parliament tomorrow. The major reason behind this decision is that the New FarmBills were passed forcibly in the House, without the Opposition’.
