The Indian farmers have been protesting for over 2 months now against the three farm laws introduced by the Government, in the most recent event the farmers had stated that they would be carrying out a tractor rally on 26th January, however, the protests put out turned into violent demonstrations and turned everything topsy turvy.
Delhi today, saw protesters claiming to be locals demanding farmers to vacate the borders. Protests intensified and soon turned into clashes.
Join us as Tanvi Shukla takes us through all the developments and asks, should Government restart dialogue with farmers?
Abhimanyu Kohar, Rashtriya Kisan Mahasangh, demands to know when the farmers of India don't want the new Farm laws, why are they being forced on them? If the Government calls us for discussions, we'll surely go. We don't support any kind of violence.
Congress' Abhishek Dutta advised the Government saying, you want Farmers' protests to finish, please make a simple announcement. No farmer union has approached the ministry to get these farm laws to be implemented.
