The farmer protests have been going for over two months and the stalemate Between the Government and the farmers has not seen any conclusion. Recently, international singer Rihanna tweeted out supporting the farmers and in the process drew people's attention to the problem. One after another Indian celebrity and international activists all joined in. The US government too chimed in stating it supports the farm laws and believes it can help the farmers.
Editor of Medianama Nikhil Pahwa says "Campaigns aren't necessarily bad. When they are used to create disinformation, disunity, to create a wrong picture, that's disingenuous."
