11:36Now PlayingUnion Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee on Thursday, alleging that the 'Parivartan Yatra' of the BJP in the state was aimed at ending 'Bua-Bhatija' corruption.
Shah said the BJP, after forming government in the state, would spend Rs 500 crore and establish a Rajbanshi Cultural Centre in this area as a tribute to the legends of the Rajbanshi community, laying out post-poll promises. He also pledged to create a tourist circuit, which will also include the Madan Mohan mandir in Cooch Behar and other regional mandirs. Taking potshots again at the chief minister, Shah said that while the Modi government is running 115 schemes to support the poor and needy, by stopping these schemes in the state, Mamata is becoming a blockade.
