After a thorough investigation in the case, it has been brought into light that the planning of a campaign to internationalise the farmer protests of India, began around 2nd-3rd of December. XR India compiled the data in the form of an excel spreadsheet. The WhatsApp group called 'International farmer's strike' related to this was created on the 6th of December and on the 7th a map for the protest was drawn as well. Following this the Delhi police arrested a young climate change activist Disha Ravi from Bengaluru on the 14th of February. This Toolkit came into prominence after Greta Thunberg tweeted about it. Disha Ravi also has been found responsible for creating the group. The Delhi police have also stated that Disha Ravi, Nikita Jacob, and Shantanu were the main creators of the Toolkit and responsible for the violence on Republic Day.
