3:06Now PlayingThe Mumbaikars now get to choose their choice of vaccine for Covid-19. The people of Mumbai now have the option of choosing between the Covaxin and Covishield. This choice will be available for them at the Covid portal and across only 6 centers in Mumbai. The option will be launched and would be accessible by the mid of the coming week. Earlier only one center in Mumbai used to administer the Covaxin, in fact the entire Maharastra had only 6 centers that could give out Covaxin. The number of people getting vaccinated in these centers was lower than the centres that administer Covishield vaccine. BMC therefore realised it would be optimum to let people choose and by doing so cover a larger group of people, more efficiently when it comes to Vaccination against Covid-19.
