Ahead of the assembly elections in Bengal, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee filed her nomination from Nandigram, and following which she met with an accident. Mamata Banerjee sustained injuries and filed a complaint with the Election Commission, alleging a political motive behind the act. The Election Commission has taken cognizance of the case and has claimed that the observer's report has no mention of the word attack and the observers have also not found any proof of the attack. However, the EC officials will be discussing the matter tomorrow when they meet.
