2:15Now PlayingThe Supreme Court today delivered its long-awaited decision in the Tata-Mistry case, one of corporate India's most acrimonious boardroom wars ever, ruling in Tata Group's favor and rejecting Cyrus Investments' appeals.
A bench led by Chief Justice S A Bobde and including Justices A S Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian delivered the decision. After years of lengthy legal proceedings, bitter allegations and counter-accusations, and no-holds-barred mudslinging, a decision has been made. The case concerns cross-appeals filed by Tata Sons and Cyrus Investments in response to the NCLAT's December 2019 order restoring Cyrus Mistry as Tata Sons' executive chairman.
