3:16Now PlayingAs Monohar Lal Khattar visited Hisarpur to inaugurate a covid hospitals, he was greeted by a farmers protest. Farmers from all over UP, Punjab and Haryana had gathered demanding a revocation of the new farm laws and a legal guarantee on the minimum support price. The protesting farmers were met by police forces who resorted to lathi-charge, the farmers state that the cops claim that the protest turned violent in response to which the police started pelting stones. As soon as the farmers came to know about the CM's visit, thousands of them came there on tractors and trollies in large numbers to try to gherao the chief ministers. There was a release of tear gas as well as an attempt by the police to stop the farmers who broke through barricades.
