Firhad and Subrata were brought to the CBI office in Kolkata todar morning. MLA Madan Mitra and former mayor Sovhan Chatterjee were also arrested by the central agency. In the Narada sting operation event, the TMC leaders were brought to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) office. Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar gave the CBI permission to prosecute these TMC leaders a few days ago.
Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal's chief minister, arrived at the CBI office in Kolkata and questioned how the central agency had detained the netas without the Speaker and state governments' knowledge. She dares CBI to arrest her as well.
