9:04Now PlayingOn Wednesday, Union Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Twitter had failed to comply with new IT standards and had purposefully chosen the road of non-compliance despite having many opportunities. Indian enterprises, whether in pharma, IT, or other industries, that conduct business in the United States or other foreign countries willingly observe local rules, according to the IT minister. Prasad also stated in a series of tweets that "there are numerous questions developing as to whether Twitter is entitled to safe harbor clause."
