2:49Now PlayingPolice stated on Tuesday that a 41-year-old woman Covid-19 patient who vanished from the neuropsychiatric ward at Chennai's Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital and was found dead on the hospital grounds days later was murdered by a woman contract worker in order to take her cash and cellphone. Rathi Devi, 40, of Thiruvottiyur, was arrested as the murder suspect. The stolen cell phone of the deceased woman, M Sunitha, 41, of Kadaperi in West Tambaram, was retrieved from her. Sunitha was last seen with Rathi Devi, who had transported her in a wheelchair from ward number 268 on the third floor of the Tower - III, according to hospital employees and patients.
