He also stated that government programs, including as loan forgiveness, will not apply to tea garden employees or the SC-ST community. He went on to say that the benefits would be delivered while keeping population norms in mind. Himanta Sarma remarked that whether it's a loan waiver or other government programs, demographic standards will be taken into account.
