9:36Now PlayingPrime Minister Narendra Modi's all-party meeting will be attended by the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), according to alliance chairperson Farooq Abdullah. After meeting at Abdullah's Gupkar Road residence to discuss the Centre's invitation, PAGD leaders made the statement. To 11 a.m., the leaders of the component parties, including PDP president Mehbooba Mufti and CPI(M) leader MY Tarigami, arrived at Abdullah's residence, which is also the National Conference president. Jammu and Kashmir's political parties have been holding intra-party talks for the previous two days. According to insiders, PM Modi summoned the all-party meeting last week amid reports that the Centre may debate the union territory's restoration of statehood and other vital matters.
