Reports suggest that the meeting was kept to end the facialist take in the party. Regarding various internal issues in the party, leaders also met Sonia Gandhi, last month. An 18-point agenda was given to Captain Amarinder Singh to be followed in Punjab, and to focus on image building in the state. The party is also planning to revamp the existing state structure, and discussions regarding the same have begun. Various high command meetings to plan the next year elections are being planned for.
