In the conspiracy case, the CBI filed a FIR in the Thiruvananthapuram Chief Magistrate Court. The complaint accuses a total of 18 persons, including Kerala police and Intelligence Bureau officers. The Supreme Court has ordered the CBI to investigate the conspiracy that led to scientist Nambi Narayanan being charged with espionage. The case was filed with the CBI in May of this year. In the espionage case, a FIR was filed with a list of people who reportedly included Nambi Narayanan and others.
