However, after some time Twitter granted access to Ravi Shankar Prasad. On this matter, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor's Twitter account also got blocked when he posted an explainer tweet on why Union Minister's Twitter account was blocked. In response to this, the Twitter spokesperson said that the access was restricted because it was a violation of DMCA notice only and the referenced tweet has been withheld as per the policy.
