Top officials from the Haryana government have been negotiating with the farmers asking them to deliver the memorandum peacefully. The farmers in Punjab, however, have been questioning the government. According to reports both, the governor of Punjab and the governor of Haryana have received the respective memoranda. Farmers all over the country have gone to submit memoranda to governors of various states asking to relay the farmers' sentiments to the President of India.
