Deshmukh was previously summoned to appear before an investigating officer at the ED's office on Saturday for interrogation in connection with a money laundering case involving an alleged multi-crore bribery-cum-extortion scheme that led to his resignation as state home minister in April this year. The NCP leader, on the other hand, had requested a new date for his appearance before the ED, and the agency had requested that he attend for questioning this week. Listen in!
