Petrol in Delhi has increased to Rs 100.56 with an increase of 35 paise, while diesel has reached Rs 89.63 per liter with a rise of 9 paise. In protest against the ever-increasing petrol and diesel prices, the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) officials protested at a petrol pump in Connaught Place at 11 am today. CTI chairman Brijesh Goyal said that now the central government will have to bring petrol and diesel under the ambit of GST. With this, petrol can be cheaper by Rs 20, while diesel by Rs 15.
