Minister Anitha Radhakrishnan did not want to dirty his white dhoti and expensive shoes, so a fisherman lifted minister Anitha in his lap and took him to the shore. To reach the beach, one had to cross knee-deep water. DMK government of Tamil Nadu, Anitha Radhakrishnan, had gone Tiruvallur's village Pulicat on an official tour with officials. This village is about 60 km from Chennai. The minister had arrived on Thursday to take stock of the fishermen living in the town.
