Tourists continue to snarl these tourist spots and hill stations and a mad rush has been witnessed during the weekend. Even though a cap has not been set for the number of tourists that are allowed in these areas, the local police have now stepped up and have started surveillance. While the tourists continue to violate social distancing and other COVID norms, the Police are now fining these violators with hefty fines.
Lonavala, Shimla, Mussoorie top the lists where mad rush and crowding can be seen.
