2:11Now PlayingDelta Plus Variant in Tripura: Tripura on Friday confirmed that out of 151 samples sent to West Bengal for genome sequencing, more than 90 samples have been found positive. The Delta Plus variant has been confirmed in all these samples, which has increased the possibility of a third wave of Covid-19 coming. State medical experts gave information about this.
But Just A day after Tripura Covid department claimed 138 Delta Plus cases have been reported from the state, the Centre said those are not Delta Plus, but of Delta variant. Centre said 152 samples were sent from Tripura to the Kalyani institute for genome sequencing. Out of them, 3 samples tested positive for B.1.1.7 the lineage to which both Kappa and Delta variants belong.
