The Sirsa district police lodged an FIR against 100 protestors for blocking public servants in discharge of their duty, murderous attempts on an elected representative and damaging public property. On the protest day, farmers had shown black flags outside Chaudhary Devi Lal University, where Gangwa had gone to attend a function in Sirsa and raised slogans against the government.
