3:46Now PlayingThe Uttar Pradesh government was ordered by the Supreme Court on Friday to reconsider its decision to host even a "symbolic" kanwar yatra, and the court requested a response by July 19. The state of Uttar Pradesh has notified the Supreme Court that it plans to undertake a symbolic yatra with a small number of participants and strict adherence to Covid procedures. The Supreme Court, on the other hand, ruled that because the Covid-19 pandemic affects all people of the country, a physical yatra could not be permitted. According to the court, the right to life is essential, and all other considerations are secondary to Article 21 of the Indian Constitution.
