The state of Uttar Pradesh has notified the Supreme Court that it plans to undertake a symbolic yatra with a small number of participants and strict adherence to Covid procedures. The Supreme Court, on the other hand, ruled that because the Covid-19 pandemic affects all people of the country, a physical yatra could not be permitted. According to the court, the right to life is essential, and all other considerations are secondary to Article 21 of the Indian Constitution.
