Justice Rekha Palli noted in the order that Twitter’s affidavit shows serious non-compliance with the new IT rules. High Court urged twitter to provide proper details of the Chief Compliance Officer. High Court also demanded proper details of Grievance Officer as per IT rules. The Delhi High Court pulled up Twitter for filing inadequate affidavits on the appointment of officers under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (IT Rules, 2021).
