'Today, we focused on expanding #vaccine production to make it globally affordable and accessible. Freedom cannot be equated to a lack of governance or non-governance. On the Taliban issue – There should be a political settlement. Afghanistan must neither be home to terrorism nor source of refugees.' Jaishankar also speaks on the QUAD alliance during a joint press briefing with the US Secretary of State.
'Taking over the country by force and abusing the rights of the people is not the path to achieve those objectives. There is only one path and that is at the negotiation table to resolve the conflict peacefully', said Blinken, 'The focus is on improving Indo-US ties. We are two of the world’s leading democracies and diversity fuels our national strength.'
