The plea has been filed in Delhi’s Tis Hazari court under the ‘Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act’. The court has issued a notice to the singer. She also alleged that she never had access to her husband's financials. It also passed interim orders in favour of the victim, restraining Honey Singh from disposing off his jointly owned property etc. The rapper's wife has stated the instances of violence in a very extensive and elaborate manner.
