After an alleged video with anti-minority slogans was posted on social media, Delhi Police opened an investigation. The video was allegedly filmed at a rally against Colonial laws in Delhi's Jantar Mantar, and it shows numerous people shouting offensive slogans. Ashwini Upadhyay, a BJP leader, organised the event. He has, however, denied any ties to the men who shouted the anti-minority slurs and accused them of slandering his reputation. In the matter, the opposition is calling for Ashwini Upadhyay's arrest. The Delhi Police inquiry revealed that no permission from the authorities was sought for the rally.
