China further stated that they are in contact and communication with Taliban. Taliban has further stated that China can help in rebuilding Afghanistan. China did play a positive role in peace keeping process. Taliban also stated that China acts as a great neighbouring country, and they made a rational decision and they are co-operating. External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar, in New York, stated on the Afghanistan crisis and how it will impact the nations. He addressed the global implications on the Afghan events and slammed the nations giving hospitality to Taliban. He asked the council to not take a selective view and there should be no justification to terrorist activities.
