The Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has arranged for an all-party delegation to meet with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and discuss the matter. The RJD, in addition to several other parties, including opposition and others, are also backing the Bihar CM on this Caste-based census and have raised the demand to implement it. Under this policy, the effective quota shall be based on caste census data only. Till 1931, every census had data on caste.
