6:57Now PlayingWith Karnataka reporting a daily case count of 1,350 cases, government and private schools in the states re-opened on Monday for campus classes. However, the response on the ground was positive with at least 60% of students attending classes. While students had to produce a consent form signed by their respective parents, teaching and non-teaching staff had to produce vaccination certificates before entering the premises. Schools have been directed to ensure COVID appropriate behaviour is being followed by students, failing which, schools will be shut. Schools will not be open in districts where the positivity rate is above 2%. At present, three districts such as Kodagu with positivity rate of 2.23, Udupi 2.84 and Dakshin Kannada at 3.24%. Watch!
