The committee also highlighted that the pediatric facilities are not close enough to what may be required in case a large number of children are affected. The report has been submitted to the PMO. The panel has asked for prioritizing vaccination among children and with a special focus on disabled children. Experts have also raised a concern about 82% shortage of pediatricians in primary health centers and 63% shortage of vaccines in community health centers. Watch to know more.
