2:56Now PlayingIt is being reported that a G7 meet will be held today in order to discuss the current humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan after the Taliban took control and overthrew Ashraf Ghani's government. Leaders of G7 countries will hold a virtual meet today and ahead of the meeting, sanctions on Taliban push are also hinted at. Both Canada and Britain are expected to push for Taliban sanctions. However, other countries have not yet confirmed their stand on the sanctioning. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has made it amply clear that the Taliban is a terrorist entity and the G7 countries are likely to discuss the options for pushing sanctions.
