Areas which were worst affected due to waterlogging were India Gate, Safdarjung, and Palam underpass. Highest Single day rain in 19 years in Delhi. The national weather forecasting agency said, “Current cloud patch is over Delhi, it is moving northward and it will cross Delhi region during next 2 hours. So, current spell of rain very likely to stop over entire Delhi during next 2 hours”. Low lying areas submerged in Delhi and streets waterlogged in Delhi as well.
