The leading farmers' group, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) had organized the massive 'Kisan Mahapanchayat' where the farmers' body launched 'Mission Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand' to boost their protest against the Centre's farm bills. Thousands of farmers from 15 states had gathered in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district for the mega event amid tight security. And now it looks like there is a groundswell of protestors & handling them is now a law & order issue. In this regard, during the debate, Choudhary Savit Malik, National President, Bhartiya Kisan Union, says, "We have recently written to the PM and knocked at their doors but they shut the doors on our faces.
