A day after this incident, the Karnataka government announces that all potholes in Bengaluru will be filled up by September 30. This is considered to be another incident this year itself. In February 2020, a 19-year-old was hit by a truck and died. She was trying to navigate around a stretch of road that was full of potholes. However, the delay in the decision by the Karnataka government has proven to be very costly.
