According to the sources, an MLA from Uttar Pradesh has demanded a namaz room in the U.P assembly while on the other hand, an MLA from Bihar has demanded a room for Hindu MLAs to offer prayers. It seems that the trigger was the allotment of the namaz room in the Jharkhand assembly after which the state assembly of Jharkand faced a massive protest against the namaz room by BJP leaders. After Jharkhand, two more states are now demanding a prayer room inside the state assembly.
