3:02Now PlayingAmid the ongoing spike in the number of COVID-19 cases which are being recorded from Kerala, Kerala High Court has now directed the Centre to reduce the gap between two doses of the Covishield vaccine. The current gap between the first and the second dose of the Covishield is of 84 days and the Kerala High Court has now directed the Centre to reduce the gap to 4 weeks. The plea was filed by Kitex Garments Limited in the Kerala High Court, citing that the petitioner purchased the vaccine for workers and families but was unable to get them jabbed due to the restrictions imposed.
