Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Saturday announced that henceforth, he will hold the meeting of his Cabinet every Tuesday at 3 pm, after a ‘sabha’ with ministers and MLAs from 11:30 am-2:30 pm.
Channi administration has dropped 5 ministers from the old cabinet that were strong supporters of the Captain. The new faces of the Punjab cabinet could be Raj Kumar Verka, Sangat Singh Giljian, Punjab Congress' working President Kuljeet Nagra, Gurkeerat Singh Kotli, General Secretary of Punjab PCC Pargat Singh, Rana Gurjit, and Raja Warring, according to news agency ANI. Seven new ministers will be sworn in today evening at the ceremony in Punjab Raj Bhavan.
