3:20Now PlayingDelhi Government has withdrawn prohibitions from celebrating Chhath Pooja. Manish Sisodia, CM of Delhi has announced that Chhath Pooja is allowed to be celebrated under strict Covid protocols. Around 30 per cent of the population celebrates Chhath Pooja, now with new Government order they can enjoy celebrating their festival while following Covid appropriate behavior and restrictions. Instead of celebrating Pooja at Yamuna Ghats Government has allowed temporary ponds to conduct rituals in Pooja. The Government of Delhi has taken this decision in accordance to low number of Covid cases being reported daily, around 15-20 cases. Also all schools in Delhi are to be opened from 1st of November though no pressure on kids will be imposed to attend offline classes.
