8:49Now Playing2 young children died due to drowning in water pit, in Mumbai. Two arrests have been made regarding this horrific incident. The pit was left open in a busy ground right under buildings, without any warning signs endangering lives of people around. FIR has been filed against CPWD officials. Grief stricken families of young boys aged 9 and 11 are asking for immediate action to be take against people involved. The children were said to be playing in the open area, they slipped and fell into the open pit. After 24 hours the supervisor and the contractor were arrested by Antop Hill Police Station under several sections of law. The pit was 10 feet deep which was left open for 15 days and over said locals. Due to the negligence and failure of proper work this fatality happened which could have easily avoided if they followed certain guidelines.
