The NEET counselling that was supposed to be held in the month of may is still not held in December. There is a shortage of reportedly 40000 doctors, which puts the burden of extra shifts on the existing doctors. "The hearing can go on till March or April so it's a loss of 1 year and the doctors are so over burdened and exhausted that they threatened us saying they will commit suicide," says Dr Manish, President, FORDA.
