Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai remain a big concern as Omicron cases are witnessing a sharp spike. In fact, there was a 70% increase in daily COVID-19 cases in Mumbai and a 50% increase in Delhi. The national capital also saw nearly 500 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Apart from malls and cinemas restrictions have been imposed even at metros that are now being allowed to run only at 50 percent capacity.
