The letter appeal was submitted by Advocate Vineet Jindal in response to a protest by resident doctors, which was led by the Federation of Resident Doctors Association of India (FORDA). This enormous protest has erupted, according to the lawyer, because the Union Health Ministry has taken no real steps to speed up NEET-PG counseling. He also requested that the Indian government appoint a commission to address the issues surrounding the physicians' protests. He also requested the court for a committee from the government to look into doctors demands
