He says that the Electronic Vehicles Policy is focused on public transport. He reiterates that the government is committed to Clean Energy. "Post the implementation of the policy, registration (of EVs) is up by 150 %. Once the EV vehicles are delivered, people in housing societies, buildings, Government and corporate offices will look at creating infrastructure for charging," says Environment Minister. He further says, "There is no magic bullet for Climate Change or pollution. We need to focus on decarbonising public transport. We are focusing on carbon-neutral Maharashtra in the next 20 years."
