According to the data by the Centre for Monitoring Indian economy, the unemployment rate had stood at 7% in November and 8.3% in August. The december number shows a declining trend even when the new Covid wave has led to fresh restrictions being imposed in business. Due to fresh curbs being imposes in various states of India economic activity and consumption level have been affected. This also affect the economy recovery further.
