7:23Now PlayingIndia is witnessing the third wave of Covid as the number of cases is increasing rapidly across the country. The centre has told states to update beds in Covid care centres. The Centre has also said that the prevailing situation is dynamic and evolving thus things need to be monitored on a daily basis. "Hospital systems, COVID-19 appropriate behaviour is in place and vaccination is also taking place as we move towards Booster Jab," says Dr Anish, COVID Expert Panel Member. "The hospitalization rate is slightly lower as compared to the Delta wave, but the numbers are increasing slowly," says Dr Yatin Mehta, Chairman, Medanta Institute of Critical Care.
