1:49Now PlayingThree Indian Navy personnel were killed in a massive explosion on a ship INS Ranvir in Mumbai on Tuesday. No accurate reasons for the explosion have been ascertained yet. The navy has ordered an internal probe to determine the cause behind the explosion.
"The ship's crew responded immediately and quickly brought the situation under control. No major material damage has been reported," the navy said in a statement. Sources say the explosion occurred around 4:30 pm and had nothing to do with weapons or ammunition explosions. The ship INS Ranvir was the first of the Ranvir class destroyers and was commissioned into the Indian navy on April 21, 1986.
